Access Control and Time Attendance Systems

The system can assign doors, zones and permitted periods to each user or group. Management software records access and attendance events for review by authorised personnel with configured permissions.

KULMEN can survey the site, plan equipment and cabling, install components, configure users and scenarios, and test operation. Existing systems can also be assessed, extended and maintained.

Planning begins by identifying the doors, gates, turnstiles and controlled zones. User groups, permitted schedules and arrangements for visitors or temporary personnel are clarified before equipment is selected.

A solution may include readers, controllers, electric locks, exit buttons, door sensors and management software. Identification methods and components reflect each entrance, expected use and practical administration needs.

Time attendance may use dedicated terminals or access point events when that suits the organisation. Before configuration, users, shifts, event types, reports and responsibility for recorded data are agreed.

After assessment, access control may interface with an intercom, video surveillance, intrusion alarm, lift control or personnel platform. Integration boundaries and exchanged data depend on the interfaces supported by each system.

The site review covers entrances, power, cable routes, network availability and door hardware. After approval, equipment is installed and labelled, controllers connected, users created and access rights configured.

Final testing covers identification, door operation, schedules, event records and integrations. Maintenance may include inspection, functional tests, configuration backup review, fault diagnosis and adjustments when requirements change.
